Who is Associate Professor Dr. Ali Yildiz?

Dr. ALİ YILDIZ, who graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine as an 'honour student' in 2012, started his specialty training in 2013 at the Urology Clinic of Health Sciences University Antalya Training and Research Hospital. .

During his speciality training, he participated in numerous surgical operations, seminars and trainings in the field of robotic, laparoscopic, andrology and infertility. He also participated in robotic surgery trainings during his speciality training and was awarded the 'da Vinci Robotic Surgery' certificate.

In June 2018, Dr. ALI YILDIZ completed his specialty training and was appointed to the Muş Varto State Hospital the same year, fulfilling his mandatory state service obligation there. During his tenure at Varto State Hospital, he performed numerous successful surgeries. He managed to make a name for himself in the press with the work he did throughout his compulsory service.

After completing his mandatory service, he began working as an Associate Professor at Istanbul Okan University Hospital's Department of Urology from December 2019 onwards. Throughout his time at Okan University Hospital, he has performed many successful operations in the fields of andrology and functional urology.

During this period, he performed numerous successful surgeries in the areas of penile curvature, penile prosthesis implantation, penile aesthetics, and infertility. He also actively participated in kidney transplant operations as part of the Okan University Hospital Organ Transplant team between 2020-2022.

Additionally, he has participated as a speaker in many congresses and live surgical courses during this time, sharing his experiences with his colleagues. Dr. Ali Yıldız, who has written numerous scientific articles in the field of andrology and urology, also imparts his knowledge and experience to future generations by teaching at the medical faculty.

Closely following developments in the field of urology worldwide, Dr. Ali Yıldız has earned the European Board of Urology's competency diploma and the title of 'Fellow of the European Board of Urology' awarded by the European Association of Urology.

In March 2023, as a result of all these academic studies, he became one of the youngest urologists to earn the title of Associate Professor in the field of Urology. He is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Urology at Istanbul Okan University Hospital and in his private practice.
